Onboarding can make or break your first day, so we've designed ours to be smooth, welcoming, and stress-free. On Day 1, new hires start together, creating an instant sense of community, and hear from a mix of teammates across teams. We make sure you have everything you need, from a welcome kit packed with sweet swag to a clear, first-day schedule so you can focus on settling in and not on guessing what comes next.  

Making Connections 

Relationships are one of our core values, and we want every new hire to feel connected from the beginning. That's why each person is paired with a work buddy to answer questions and offer guidance as you find your footing. Day 1 usually occurs on Wednesdays, so new hires can experience the weekly all-office lunch for themselves. Plus, we offer new-hire-specific meetups to give you laid-back ways to meet colleagues, swap stories, and start building friendships right away. 

Learning at Your Fingertips 

Growing your skills and understanding of the company is easier than ever at AKS. Our training channel provides quick access to videos and resources, while an AKS-specific AI tool makes finding employee resource documents a breeze. Weekly training sessions keep you in the loop and help you build confidence as you grow into your role. 

Open-Door Policy 

Questions? Ideas? Something you're unsure about? At AKS, no door is ever closed. Our open-door culture encourages conversation with anyone on the team, so you always have someone to turn to. We also check in with periodic onboarding surveys to hear how your first months are going, helping us make sure every new hire feels supported and ready to succeed.
