Head to the Open Positions page and select the role you’re interested in. Fill out the application, attach your resume (preferably a pdf file), and attach an optional cover letter. Click “Submit Application.” You will receive an email confirming your application was received.
Please apply ONLINE. We discourage candidates from walking in with a paper resume.
While steps may vary depending on the role, here’s what you can typically expect when applying to AKS:
- Apply Online – Submit your application through our website.
- Phone Screen – If selected, our Talent Acquisition Team will schedule a 30–45 minute phone call to learn more about you and your background.
- Hiring Panel – Candidates moving forward are invited to interview. Local applicants typically meet in person, while those outside the area may interview online. Interview length depends on the position. Entry-level candidates often have just one interview, while senior roles may include two or three rounds. During your interview(s), you will have the opportunity to meet with a variety of AKS staff, subject matter experts, owners, and potential coworkers.
- Formal Offer – Our Talent Acquisition Team will call you with your formal offer to join the AKS team, pending references and a background check.
We’re so excited to have you join our team! Shortly after accepting your offer, you’ll receive an email with onboarding instructions to complete before your first day.
Your first day begins with our group orientation, AKS Day One, held every other Wednesday. During this orientation, you will:
- Learn about AKS, including benefits and timekeeping.
- Take a tour of the office.
- Meet your new co-workers.
- Get settled into your workspace.
- Enjoy a company-provided lunch with your team.
- Begin training tailored to your role.
AKS does not work with third-party recruiters or agencies outside of fully executed contracts. Candidates should be warned that third-party recruiters may misrepresent themselves as working on behalf of AKS. Candidates should only communicate directly with AKS employees.
