Growing Our Survey Presence in Western Washington
AKS is continuing to grow in the Puget Sound region through a new partnership with Lanktree Land Surveying, effective May 1, 2026. The partnership represents a natural fit for both firms, combining Lanktree's local expertise and reputation with AKS' multidisciplinary resources and reach. The combination positions AKS to grow its survey presence in Puget Sound while providing Lanktree with the added depth, capacity, and support of a larger firm.
A Team Built on Local Relationships and Hands-On Service
Founded in 2012 by Trevor Lanktree, Lanktree Land Surveying built its reputation with personalized service and maintaining close client involvement in every project. Based in Kent, Washington, the firm includes 12 team members and operates two to three survey field crews supporting projects throughout the region.
The team brings experience in boundary, topographic, subdivision, construction, and land title surveying across a variety of residential, private development, infrastructure, and military projects. Recent work includes Timberstone Residential Townhomes, Sumner Meadows, South Sound CARE Foundation, Lake Stevens Concepts Senior Living, City of Tacoma 6th Avenue Pedestrian Improvements, and Mountainview Marketplace.
Continuing Local Leadership and Client Relationships
Moving forward, Trevor will continue leading the Lanktree team from the Kent office, ensuring continuity for both clients and staff while expanding the team's capabilities through AKS' broader technical resources and operational support.
The partnership allows the Lanktree team to maintain the personalized approach clients value while enhancing the level of support and service available through AKS' broader resources.
