PORTLAND, OREGON – AKS and Downtown Development Group (DDG) are excited to announce a new long-term lease in the historic Pioneer Park Building in downtown Portland.

For 30 years, AKS has maintained offices on the outskirts of the Portland region. The company has been expanding rapidly through both organic growth and a series of strategic mergers and acquisitions. AKS entered downtown Portland in October 2025 through a partnership with Lancaster Mobley, an established traffic and transportation design firm that now operates under the AKS name. The office has since experienced significant growth, necessitating a move to the new location that provides nearly 4,000 square feet of office space. “I am excited to bring a presence for AKS into downtown Portland. DDG maintains ownership interests in more than 2.5 million square feet of retail, office, residential, and warehouse space, as well as more than 25 parcels of land designated for future development. Owned by the Goodman family, DDG has been investing in Portland’s commercial market for more than 70 years.
