Wygant Row was designed and built to fit a 12-lot residential subdivision on 0.33 acres. The site layout contained many sustainable elements, including pervious pavers, incorporation of street trees, native species plantings, a central plaza with capacity for 14 bikes, a flush clearance curb, and a community garden. A geotechnical report and transportation impact study were also coordinated through the use of AKS subconsultants. Construction for the project was completed in October 2015. AKS provided topographic site surveying, property boundary surveying, planning, civil engineering, landscape architecture, platting and monumentation, construction staking, and construction administration and support services. The project required review from the City of Portland’s Water Bureau, Bureau of Transportation, Bureau of Development Services, Bureau of Environmental Services, and the Fire Bureau.
