Estacada Industrial Park
AKS has been working with the landowner and the City of Estacada to develop 130 acres of land for light industrial use. The project accomplishes a goal the City of Estacada has shared with the developer for many years: to develop an industrial center that can generate thousands of jobs for the area. AKS assisted the developer in getting the land added to the Estacada Urban Growth Boundary, which took several years. AKS then worked with the City to annex the property into the City and rezone it for industrial development. The property became the largest piece of land zoned for industrial use in Clackamas County. With that accomplished, a Local Improvement District was created and approved earlier in 2013 for the construction of the road. Funding for the public improvements were provided through the state of Oregon to jumpstart the project. The land received Oregon’s Industrial Site Certification. A ribbon cutting of the new roadway was held in December 2013 at the site and was attended by dignitaries from city, county, and state offices.
With the roadway in place, AKS is now working with the developer to providing civil engineering, land use planning and surveying services for the on-site improvements that include site grading, streets, stormwater systems, wastewater systems and water systems. Survey services included an ALTA/ACSM Survey for the site.
